Thyme Tincture

THYME TINCTURE
A certified organic, clinically tested herb as a decongestant, suppress cough and kill bacteria. The ancient Greeks used thyme to strengthen the body. Thyme offers antioxidant properties and chemical compounds that give thyme its antispasmodic, sedative and expectorant qualities. It is excellent as calming coughing. Thyme is so beneficial that pharmaceutical companies used thyme in their medications and mouth wash. NOTE: Do not use thyme in large doses; do not exceed recommended dose. Not for pregnant women or those with a thyroid condition. The ancient herbalist would use thyme in conjunction with other immune boosting herbs for coughs, croup and whooping cough. Thyme has antiseptic-like qualities as well as being an effective germicide. Thyme will kill the whooping cough bacteria while making it easier to breath with its antispasmodic action. Herbalist have used thyme for hundreds of years for respiratory ailments. One of the added benefits is that thyme can be soothing to the nerves and have a sedative action. Children suffering from coughs, croup and whooping cough when given thyme can breathe easier and be able to sleep. Layer with Children's Echinacea, Adult Echinacea or Immune Booster or Pneumonia Kit formulas. If using a tea, mix with a little honey. Herb teas are not as potent as tinctures and by volume the child would need to drink more tea when compared to a dose of tincture. You can administer the herbs when the cough is problematic. HINT: A little organic (unfiltered) apple cider vinegar will help cut the phlegm from whooping cough or use our All-In-One formula.
