SHIPPING TIMES

We are unable to guarantee specific ship times currently and look forward to when we can get back to our normal turnaround time for sending your packages out. Apothecary Herbs is only processing and shipping orders with billing and final destination shipping addresses located in the United States and Canada. All pricing is in US dollars.

Orders are processed in the order that they are received and shipped out accordingly. Shipping times will vary based on the address provided on the order. Please see approximate shipping times in the chart below. Some exclusions may apply, including large orders placed Friday through Sunday (may take extra days to process during the work week), or orders that require us to reach out to the customer before invoicing.

We do our best to ship out orders received by 2 pm EST the same day if items are in stock. There are instances when orders may not ship the day they are received such as but not limited to; high order volume, electric outage, Internet outage, carrier pick up delay and inclement weather.

The Seller has the sole decision of selecting the ship carrier even it Buyers invoice selects a different shipper. Seller will however honor the ship fee on the invoice. For example, some areas of the US have difficulty delivering by a certain carrier but an alternate carrier does deliver.

It is the Sellers decision to add insurance or a signature required to orders over a certain sale amount.

EXPEDITED SHIPPING INFORMATION

We are happy to accept expedited shipping and our cut-off time for processing these orders is 2pm PST. Please note that these orders can take 24-48 business hours before they are shipped out. Once they are shipped, that is when the carrier is guaranteeing to deliver your package in the promised time frame that you have chosen. Be aware that overnight orders shipped on Friday may not be delivered by the carrier until the following Monday. Also, overnight may not be available to some zip codes.

A few restrictions apply, including, the weight limit for these orders is capped at 50 pounds. Orders over this weight limit will not see any expedited shipping options. Expedited shipping can only be offered to valid physical addresses and we are unable to accept APO, DPO, FPO or PO Box addresses for these shipping options.

All domestic orders within the United States typically take 2-10 days to arrive to you after your order has shipped out from Mountain Rose Herbs.

When ordering the ship module will deliver the ship charge the carrier you selected is charging Seller.

HAZARDOUS MATERIALS AND SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS***

Due to increased restrictions by the Federal Aviation Association (FAA) we may not be able to ship certain items to your location by express ship. This restriction mostly affects our Oils, Extracts and Tonics.

However, we are happy to send these Apothecary Herbs products via Ground shipping services to most physical addresses in the lower 48 states. If there are any restricted items in your cart that cannot be shipped to the address that you provide, no shipping options will be available during checkout and an error message will display instead. Once you remove the restricted items from your cart, you should be able to complete the order without any further issues. If we receive an order that includes restricted or prohibited items, and we determine that we cannot ship these to the destination provided on the order, we will process the order without the restricted item(s) or we may contact you for an alternate shipping address.

Products with restricted shipping to Canada are the same as above, which include the Oils, Extracts and Tonics. We are also unable to send the following herbs to Canada: Forest Grown Ginseng root, Cape Aloe powder, Goldenseal root powder and Goldenseal root. Please check ingredient lists on products before adding to your cart or mail order list.

CANADA SHIPPING INFORMATION

HOW WILL MY ORDER BE SHIPPED?

Orders to Canada are shipped out via US Priority International mail or by FedEx International mail. Delivery time is calculated according to actual "business days" and does not include weekends or holidays. These delivery times are estimated by the carrier and are not guaranteed, unless otherwise noted. Your customs authority may hold the order for inspection which can delay delivery times. The estimated delivery time above does not include the days required for us to process, package, and get your order ready for shipment.

If your order exceeds 150 pounds you may opt to have your order shipped via your own freight carrier, which you would have to arrange.

Canadian orders will be shipped with a Commercial Invoice and ship ladle. Please make sure that other forms of documentation will not be required by your government before you order as we will not be able to provide them. The only additional documents that can be provided upon request are:

We are not responsible for fees incurred because of refused merchandise and we are not responsible for customs and tariff fees imposed by your country. See further details below.

CAN I USE MY FEDEX ACCOUNT NUMBER AS A BILLING OPTION FOR SHIPPING?

It is the Seller's decision to use the Buyer's own FedEx account number when requested. You would need to provide this to us at the time of ordering and we will ship your package on your own account and no shipping charges shall apply to your order. Please note that you may still need to select a shipping method/cost, online but we will remove that at the time of processing, and you will either not be charged or refunded the ship fee.

DUTY AND TAXATION

Apothecary Herbs is not responsible for any duty, taxes or other associated import fees that your government may impose. These additional costs are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Any Canadian taxes and possible duty fees are assessed and calculated by your government when your package enters Canadian Customs and are collected from you when your package is delivered to you. Apothecary Herbs is only responsible for your order up to the point when the order arrives at the border.

ORDERS HELD UP AT YOUR COUNTRY'S BORDER AND DISPOSAL ISSUES

Canada Customs can hold your order for reasons that they may suspect as warranted. This usually involves a parcel search, product quarantine, or items within the parcel that may cause some concern with customs officials. These held up orders are not the responsibility of Apothecary Herbs and can only be resolved by you and your local postal authorities. In the event that your country's inspection agency quarantines, disposes or otherwise discards material which is not allowed into your country, this will become the sole responsibility of the buyer and, Apothecary Herbs will not issue a replacement nor refund for such occurrences. It is the responsibility of the buyer to know what is allowed into Canada and what is not. The same applies to order that may be shipped to Austraila, United Kingdom, New Zealand and other countries.

Any questions regarding Canadian Customs clearance of specific items as well as taxes and possible duty fees should be directed to your customs department. The following links might be of help:

30-day return policy

Subject to the requirements of this paragraph, products may be returned for any or no reason by Buyer within thirty (30) days of the date received by Buyer, or such later time as may be authorized by Seller, for a full or partial refund of the price paid to Seller. Returned product must be in the same condition and same packaging as when received. In addition, essential oils, bitters, and herbal extracts in 8 oz (approx. 225 g) or larger size containers are only eligible for refunds if they are unopened and the tamper evident safety seal is unbroken. Buyer must contact a customer service representative of Seller before returning a product. Buyer is responsible for the cost of shipping returns, unless otherwise agreed to by Seller. Buyer agrees to comply with all health and safety laws, rules, and regulations that apply to Seller under state or federal law or under the terms of this agreement when returning products, including any time during which the products are held by Buyer pending return. If Buyer is returning Products from outside the United States, Buyer is solely responsible for clearance of returned Products through United States customs and for any duties, fees, costs and charges that may arise in conjunction with same. Seller may set off from any refund payable on a product return any amounts required to be paid for Seller to take possession of the returned products.
